Region & Trails

Welschnofen Carezza in the Eggen Valley region is the ideal starting-point. When it comes to the world-famous twilight glowing of the Dolomites, the Rose Garden – looming over the Carezza / Eggen Valley region and considered its trademark - does it best. And a little to one side, but not less spectacular, the Latemar. The sea of milk, and thus its pale white counterpart.

Between them lies a still largely undiscovered biking paradise. The region is crisscrossed by hundreds of kilometers of historical trails of all levels of difficulty. From the mountain station of the Welschnofen aerial tram, the 4.5-km-long Carezza Trail flows along a brook, through forests and meadows with plenty of steep and banked curves until it reaches the valley station in Welschnofen / Nova Levante – the perfect fun and test trail for our event. All in all, there are four lifts (in which bikes can be taken along), the Carezza Trail, a practice course, and plenty of traditional refreshment stops along the way. You're thus guaranteed a marvelous experience on two wheels.

All participants of the ROSADIRA BIKE - the Dolomiti Bike Festival – are entitled to use the Welschnofen aerial tram free of charge!
